MY BABIES!!!! I decided to come home for a day or so to spend time with these furballs :) I miss them so much when I’m in Norman teaching :(
It’s my 5000th post!! So here are some selfies, and some of my most favorite people/ dogs/ pictures I’ve taken lol
Erin: Gypsie.... Girl....
Me: Girl
Erin: Girl.... Your tongue is ridiculous
My baby girl… She apparently sleeps just like I do!
It snowed last night, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite pictures of my kids after they played in the snow :) *And by “kids”, I mean fur babies lol
Who are you?
Once upon a time there was a girl named Alysa (Uh, lisa?). She had many magical powers, but the world she lived in wasn’t ready for them, so she had to keep them tucked away in a shoe box under her bed. She could share with the world her amazing musical abilities though, so she picked the very best instrument-the French horn, of course- to play loudly and freely for all to hear. Our hero Alysa was also a touch indecisive, and this quality was showcased through her always-changing hair styles: blonde with pink, black, back to some blonde highlights, short, long, let’s add some purple, take out the purple, back to short, but only on one side, etc etc.
At one point in her magical life, there was a dark cloud and his name was Jason. Alysa thought it would be best to marry him because he claimed to love her. This evil cloud apparently loved being with other (more inferior) girls, and so one day Alysa found the strength (that she kept in her shoebox under her bed) and left that evil cloud behind. She also found herself in a much happier place, filled with rainbows and cats—and although Alysa is allergic to cats, she loves them just the same. Alysa found her love of women and her super powers increased exponentially— because lesbians are awesome. Duh.
The hero of our story is still trying to find her happy ending, but she knows that life is a journey meant to be lived. What is the point of the destination if one can’t enjoy the time spent working towards it? In the meantime, Alysa has found her love of teaching, has reconciled her relationship with her father (and the rest of her family for the matter), and has two amazing dogs to keep her company at night. Oh, and apparently she talks about herself in the 3rd person ;)
Artsy photo of Gypsie. She supports the gays :)
Last night I took my dogs to the new dog park in Stillwater, and afterwards a friend and I went to Sonic for some dank drinks (haha I can’t even say that without giggling). Anyway… the guys working inside were IN LOVE with my dogs and kept bringing them out chicken strips. Well, at one point one of the guys said, “With a big dog like him around, you have all the protection you need! You don’t even need a man.” And I laughed. And said, “You’re right… I don’t need a man.”
Oh my. I hate being femme sometimes.
I just needed you all to see how cute my babies were when they were babies. That’s all. :)
So I said one of their names…. “Caesar!” and he like… attacked me with licking and whining and I-want-to-be-pet craziness!
That is all.
